About Us

Yvette Crooke-Avera founded Belle Ame Soap Bar by transforming her mother's soap-making hobby into a global business. The name honors her daughters—Ansley, Megan, and Emma—representing the brand's personal touch. After her handmade soaps successfully treated her daughter’s eczema, Yvette dedicated herself to sharing these handmade skin-beneficial products with the world. 

Unfortunately, Yvette has been battling a chronic inflammatory disease that has affected her ability to lift, stir, and essentially make the products. As of January 1st, 2025, her daughter Emma purchased and has been continuing the legacy. Emma is keeping the business's roots, but is going to focus on skincare and planning to limit the use of fragrance oils and add multiple beneficial essential oil lines. Be prepared for rebranding, new exciting products, and looks. 

All of our Bath and Body products are made-to-order and shipped from Pensacola, Florida. Each soap is hand-cut and packaged, and all containers are hand-bottled and labeled, and quality is ensured every step of the way. Belle Ame products are formulated with pure essential oils, distinctive blends of fragrances, and some of the best ingredients that Mother Nature has to offer, such as shea butter, mango butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil, palm oil (from Philippine farms), coconut oil, grape seed oil, and cocoa oil.
